I often worry about pests with my yarn because a lot of it is always stored away where it can't be seen. I am hoping I have it wrapped up well but you can never be 100% sure, can you?
Sorry that LB has been ill. We have had an unusually high number of flu cases in South Australia recently which authorities are putting down to an unusually wet summer. The flu vaccinations will not be available for the coming winter season until April but we need to book them now before stocks run out as they do every year. People with high need such as those with respiratory problems or other chronic illnesses can get them through their doctors but need to act early.
Do you have a flu vax system where you live, Meredith?
I'm so glad for all of you that LB has turned the corner and hope that the rest of you stay clear of the flu. xxxJodiebodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11377052537742885631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3787570018101441310.post-576500902253072802017-03-11T18:37:43.570-05:002017-03-11T18:37:43.570-05:00If you have never been to "Four Purls Yarn Sh...If you have never been to "Four Purls Yarn Shop" in Winter Haven . After 2 months, it seems to have finally let go of our household too.
Moths can be awful! I have to get into my garden shed this spring and get rid of hundreds of dead bodies. They didn't get into anything, thank goodness, but boy are they ever gross. I'm not even sure how they got in or what they were doing in there. I just have a lot of clean up to do. I shudder to think of it.
It's great that your yarn stash is okay though, and it is probably a very good thing that you took precautions in cooking it. That would be a lot to lose.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your week, and that you see no more moths.
AndreaAndrea Ostapovitchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11151794751876169584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3787570018101441310.post-32156984660068142312017-03-08T15:28:02.707-05:002017-03-08T15:28:02.707-05:00Oh dear, poor little man, I hope he is all better ...Oh dear, poor little man, I hope he is all better soon.
