There are still miracles that happen everyday. Some so small we don't even notice them and some so huge it changes our whole lives. Little Buddy is our miracle, he should not be alive but he is thriving, and helping to brighten our family each and every day.
There is the miracle of love, in all its different shapes and forms.
There is the miracle of healing. Things we take for granted like antibiotics that are rapidly making both Little Buddy and I feel so much better. There are those huge miraculous healings that occur for reasons unknown, like for my dear friend Holly's son. He is a young man I absolutely adore who has been beating the odds this week with spontaneous healing of his kidney's that shut down for some unknown reason during a brief illness. He just might be discharged from the hospital tomorrow, on Christmas day, after we thought he might be in the hospital for weeks and weeks.
There is the miracle of family, some close and some far away. The love that binds us through the generations is so powerful.
And there is the miracle of friendship. The miracle of blogging friends you connect with around the world who listen to you complain, (please see my last post) rejoice with you, lift you up, make you laugh, and send you love when you need it.
To all of you I wish you a special day. Christmas is not the easiest time for many. Some people don't celebrate, some have lost loved ones or feel alone. I am sending you love. And I am thanking all of you for sharing your lives with me.
Little Buddy and I wish you a wonderful Holiday Season.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND LITTLE BUDDY.

And you are L.B.'s miracle, Meredith. Your family is his miracle family. Thank goodness for people like you! He couldn't have gotten a better home. Merry Christmas to you all.
ReplyDeleteMeredith.. you are a miracle of friendship for me. I feel like we've known each other forever.. and that we can talk about anything. I do hope that someday you can visit your honorary Oregon and Washington blog sisters, what fun we'd have chatting. When we get together your name always comes up as someone we adore. You look beautiful in this photo with Little Buddy.. he's such a doll. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

ReplyDeleteA lovely, heart felt post from lovely wonderful you. You are all very lucky to have each other. Little Buddy I know teaches you so much and in return you give him all the love and resources to thrive. Glad to hear your friend's son is better. A friend's daughter was in the hospital for several days because of kidney trouble that was caused by them giving her the wrong medicine when she complained of kidney pain. Turns out she was severely dehydrated which caused her kidneys to shut down and they gave her pain killer which made it worse. Fortunately they got it under control. Great Santa picture of you guys. Enjoy this last week of December. Tammy
