Welcome 2016 I am so glad to see you. Let's get off on the right foot. I would like us to have a wonderful year together. I'd like to remember you in years to come as one of the best years of my life. So here is to you! Let us make it one to remember!!!
I usually choose one word to think about in my year instead of loads of resolutions I will not keep. Yes I know I need to exercise and eat better. I need to slow down and think about the beauty in my life. I need to be much more positive than I am, but all those resolutions just get jumbled in my head and get me nowhere fast. So a word works better for me. The last few years have been hard, really hard if I am honest. Much I talk about but a lot I don't because it is not my story to tell, but I am still here kicking and screaming and looking forward to better things. So instead of one word I am picking four this year because one word is just not going to be enough for me.
Peace
Love
Happiness
Abundance
I think that sums it up and I think that covers everything. I have those precious words written by my computer, in my closet, on my bathroom mirror and in my car just to remind myself of my 2016 mantra.
I hope that these words might work for you too. I wish us all Peace,
Love, Happiness and Abundance in 2016.
Happy New Year.
Wonderful words! I a hoping for a great 2016!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Linda

Happy New Year dear Meredith.
ReplyDeleteWonderful words for twenty-sixteen ♥
It is a great idea to bring all those thoughts, feelings and hopes into one, (or a few) special words. If I had to pick a word for myself, it would be clarity. My goal is to see more clearly, understand more thoroughly and be far less judgmental. It is also my hope, that I will feel others judgement towards me, far less.
ReplyDeleteIt will be an interesting journey, and it is so wonderful to be in it together via our little pen-pal-ship.
