45

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, from the look at all of your blogs it sure looks that way.  I wanted to give you a quick look at my finished project number 45.  A Queen Anne Lace Scarf made out of bulky weight yarn.  It definitely changes the feel of the scarf  being made in a bulky weight, but I still think it is lots of fun.
The colors are really beautiful, but you know my photography skills...they are questionable at best, especially on a rainy day.
This is made with Lang Yarns Mille Fiamme, a yarn new to me.  It is 50% wool and 50% acrylic.  Loved the feel of the yarn and it was very easy to work with.  I have two more skeins to make another scarf for a Christmas present for a friend.  This scarf is a birthday present for my friend Lori.
Look here at my Christmas cactus, she is about ready to burst.  I can't wait to see her in full bloom.  Hope you are all happy and healthy.

45 project wow. You are sounding a bit like me. I just love making those Q.A. scarves. The yarn you pick is wonderful too. So fun to see a Christmas cactus, they don't do as well up here. Hope you can get some rest before the next holiday affair begins. Great to hear from you. I knew you would get the whole proactive visit.

Lovely scarf...BUT THAT CHRISTMAS CACTUS IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!! You definitely have to snap a pic when it is in full bloom and show us how beautiful it is. How long have you had it? I could never get one to last longer than a year, and mine couldn't have held a candle to yours. I think yours is the biggest one I have ever seen. Thanks for stopping by and also for helping me decide what to do to the little purses. Flowers and beads was a thought and I have all kinds of of sequins and stuff too. Should be fun playing around with all the ideas. Thanks :)

Oh my goodness, that scarf and the cactus both are so pretty, Meredith. I love the colors that you've chosen.

My step-mom always had Christmas cactus that bloomed this time of year. Great big ones. She had a real knack for growing those. It looks like you do too!

Lovely scarf! And the Christmas cactus is absolutely gorgeous. I've never seen one with so many buds on it. In fact, sadly, I've not ever had much luck with them.
