Today is my special boys birthday, he is 8!!!!
He acts like he is 108 but none the less it is his special day. Dear Max, I love every hair on your body even though you shed a whole dog everyday. I love that you are definitely your own dog, you shun water, children and other dogs. You definitely never read the manual on how to be a Golden Retriever, you are doing it your way. I love you bunches and bunches.

Happy birthday Max! My golden didn't swim either. She would wade, but didn't like other dogs splashing water in her face. Max is beautiful!

He looks a bit worried, maybe he is realizing he is another year (or is it 7 in dog years) older. I kinda feel that way too when a birthday rolls around. I hope he got something special, like a real nice treat. I'm sure he did cause I know by the way you speak of him that he is a special member of your family.
