Home Again

Have you ever been to Northern Minnesota?  Gosh is it beautiful.  My husbands nephew got married there this past weekend and I have to admit the wedding was perfect.  Want  to take a peek at some of the sights we experienced the three days we were visiting?
This was the view from our porch.
Still from our porch looking to the right.
The wildflowers were in abundance, flowering everywhere.
 Upper Gooseberry Falls.
 Driftwood on the rocky beach.
The root structure near the falls, it is amazing these trees are still upright.
 Lower Gooseberry Falls.
An amazing cave near the upper falls.
The beach was made from these beautiful stones.  I brought a few home with me as souvenirs and got stopped at security in the airport.  They looked suspicious on the x-ray, but the agent assured me that he sees this all the time.
We all had to walk through this lovely bridge on the way to the beach wedding.  It looks like it is out of a fairy tale or something found on Pinterest.
These flowers were on the bridge and on each table at the reception.  So simple, beautiful flowers, some native rocks in jars filled with water, and tied with a ribbon.  Perfect!

What a very gorgeous setting for the happy event. Love those rocks, and the falls, and the wild bergamot. The bridge looks adorable (if a bridge can be adorable). :)
