Packer Scarves

I have been a busy girl this week,  My crochet hook has been smoking.  And I have to admit my forearm is a little sore, because every time I sat down I tried to get a few more stitches in.  What has been so important you ask?  An Etsy order for three Green Bay Packer scarves.  Since I am a Packer fan this has been a fun order to fill.  I had to order the perfect color yarn, which took a while to arrive, so I tried to hurry to get the order complete.

Do you want to see?

These were made from a combination Berroco Pure Pima, for the golden yellow, and Cascade Yarns Pima Tencel, for the pine green.  I think I got the colors perfectly matched as I held them up to the framed Brett Favre jersey we have in our office.  See I told you we were fans.

For all you lovely friends overseas, The Green Bay Packers are a football (not soccer) team located in lovely Green Bay, Wisconsin. Brett Favre was an amazing quarterback for the Packers. We Packer fans take our team seriously, thus the need for flowered scarves in Green Bay Packer colors.

I had just enough yarn for a little flower coaster for the lovely woman who ordered these scarves.  I hope she enjoys her tea or coffee with a little Packer fun.

What have you been up to this week?

I love those scarves. Very interesting and a feminine way to be a Packer Backer.

What have I been doing this week? Laundry! I swear when we go on vacation someone comes in and wears all our clothes and uses all the towels! LOL

What a great idea for a Packer Fan! A woman anyway... My son is a big Packer fan too! I have had a very busy week. I am taking care of my 3 year old granddaughter a couple days a week for a while until her other babysitter recoops from foot surgery. She really keeps me hopping! If the weather turns bad here next week I might not be able to get her since she lives south of Columbus. Today I am going to get a few things done around here and then run some errands. Hope to settle down to some crocheting tonight and a fire in the fireplace! ~Hugs, Patti

Great scarves, so pretty and cleverly matched to team colours....none of us are footy fans here particularly, apart from of course biggest's team which are only seven -a-side sort of matches....watching the games is beginning to be a very cold affair, so I must dig out my scarves.

Despite ploughing on with my hat it really doesn't seem to be growing, but I am loving working on my little woollie blanket zooming along the rows in the evening....that's what I want to be doing!

Though not a football watcher, I do love to hear about Packer fans who live out of state. :)

Honestly I don't know WHAT I've been up to this week. A whole lotta nuthin', apparently.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

The Packer fans will love the scarfs and you should make that pattern in all kinds of team colors just in case some of the other fans want them too. Love that pattern!
Hugs, Susanne :)
