New

A new placement for an old picture I have had for years.  Do you think anyone will notice that Brett Favre's jersey has been moved to the hallway upstairs?

A new project that I hope will bring back my knitting and crocheting mojo.

New flowers on my table, can't wait to see them when they open up.

A new rain shower that will help my flowers grow.

Newly pruned bushes, now for some weeding.

A brand new shirt I found yesterday in the clearance section of the store near me, total cost $2.00.  It is sheer and beautiful, I am in love.

New raspberries bought at the store today, they are almost gone.

New reading glasses to go with my new ocean tide and sea salt candle.  At the brave age of 48 I have given in and bought myself some readers, suddenly things were getting very hard to see.  I guess not everything new is exciting.

What is new with you today?

Love your pictures. Is that an inside pool that the flowers surround? I bet the tulips will be amazing when they open! Nothing new here today, but still alot of day to go yet.

Love seeing all the "new" stuff! Those azaleas(?) are a treat for a New Jersey-ite. They are one of the first flowers to bloom around here in spring, but certainly not yet!

I love the azaleas, they are so pretty. I forget that they are in season now in FL.

Oh, I love the new knitting project. Looks like fun. It will look really nice on you. Keep knitting MO and JO will find their way back home. It's that whole, if you do it, they will come sort of thing.

Well, I am impressed that you got to wait until 48 to wear glasses. I have had them, since my early 40's. I only need them for cross stitching or small crochet thread work...and an Ott light helps too if you don't have one.

Hugs to Max and I hope you are enjoying your day dear friend. :)

Meredith! I found you again! I just went back to February 5th, the last time I visited you and have been catching up on all your news since then...I am sorry that you had a cold and challenges with caring for your parents. This season of your life is uniquely stressful with all the changes in your family.

I love the new creative space you are making around you, and I loved seeing more of your flock and the treasures you enjoy from family and friends. Thanks for sharing all the photos of your beautiful flowers!

You, your generosity, and creativity continue to inspire me. Thanks for posting!

xx,
Gracie

Oh, your azaleas are a joy to behold. My Rhododendrons and Azaleas will be coming on in a month or so. I continue to be inspired by your work space.. must find time to work on my poor buried office. You're lucky to have found tulips! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Your tulips on the table are going to be lovely.

I don't think the Brett Favre jersey will be missed too much. At least you kept it IN the house. LOL

Not a darn thing is new here. I NEED something new.

So you think the Eco Duo would be too heavy, huh? The pattern calls for worsted weight yarn, and I was thinking the Eco Duo would be lighter than the ILTY or a cotton. Hmm. I may have to rethink that. I don't want anything too heavy with the weather down here being blazing most of the time. What is the yarn you are using for that sweater there? I don't recognize it. I see you are enjoying your new office/craft room and putting it to good use. Nice glasses! When I hit 40, my eyes went south too!

Awesome sale price as well as a great shirt! Azelias already? Many nice new things for you today!I started wearing "reading glasses" at 41. I have them all over the house since I still buy off the rack glasses. Not bad at 48.

I am so far behind with blog reading, will I ever catch up, hummm I wonder. Everyone has been keeping busy and so have I, but not doing the "fun" stuff that everyone else has been doing.....cleaning, and that says it all for now.

Hi Meredith, sorry I missed at few posts. Sometimes it seems hard to keep up with everything and other times I do just fine. Love all your "new" items!!!! AND flowers, oh how, I long for Spring and the smell of the earth! I know it won't be long. My snowdrops are still under about 8" of snow. But anyway have a great weekend my friend, xoRobin❤

Hey there Meredith! I love that shirt you bought. In fact, in Sri Lanka, I was looking for shirts in just that style as they are so flattering for just about any figure. I just turned 47 and have had to use reading glasses for a couple of years now -- mostly for reading or cross-stitching. I try not to use them at work though if I am working on a spreadsheet with lots of numbers then I kinda have to. Hope you are having a great weekend. Best wishes, Tammy

What a steal on that blouse! It's gorgeous and perfect for warm weather. And I really like that doily in the glasses photo, and the flowers, and the tulips....

What's new by me? A new winter jacket, a pair of socks, a merino wool undershirt, cycling shorts, arm warmers for cycling, and a pair of sneakers. Did I mention we went to an outlet store yesterday? In WYOMING! :)

Have a great week, Meredith. :)

It is trying to snow here - tiny little flakes are falling.
My latest news is a brand new grandbaby ♥ as sweet as can be.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.

I love your jazzy readers, with the bling built right in. Very sassy!

Can't wait to see your sweater. That one's been in my own queue for a long time. :)

Looks like it is really spring at your house. We still have melting snow, and today rain. The rain is messy on top of the snow, but it gives me hope that spring is really coming soon.
