Gifts

  Gifts from nature.

Gifts to nature.

Filled with paper from a far away land.

Gifts to wrap and ship.

Gifts to finish.

Gifts yet to be begun.

A gift of a quiet moment.

A gift of a healthy breakfast.

A gift for a knitting friend. (Found at Target by the way)

Gifts of color.

A brilliant blue sky.

And a gift of love and companionship from my beautiful best friend.

What gifts are you celebrating today?

Good morning sweet friend. I have so many posts, as I am way behind on blogging. There have been days where I haven't even turned my computer on! Weird, I know! But I have been up to my eyeballs in a big project here at home. I have just caught up. Love, love, love that knitting ornament. Must make a run to Target to see if we have any here! And I love the scarves, and photo of baby boy, snug as a bug. Love that son is mending!!! And love that your heart is full of such gratitude for the goodness in your life. I so enjoyed my morning visit!!

Wonderful photos! I think the gift I am celebrating the most today is one I can't take a picture of - being able to stay inside a house that is warm and cosy on a day that is well below zero.

A wonderful post to start the day.

The gift I am celebrating today is being able to enjoy the season, and be glad that I know how lucky I am to even be here.

Blessings,

P.S. You had such a healthy breakfast. I had a fudge pop-tart. It was one of those days.

What a lovely doggie you have, lucky you. I'd quite like a dog, but I don't think I'll get one any time soon. Fantatic gifts, you've been so busy - keep going!

What a lovely post and such lovely illustrations it is hard to choose one over the other as they are all fabulous. If I had to choose some though I'd have to say I am really taken with the felted bird house, the stunning purple crochet and sheepy wool holder but I think the most gorgeous has to be your glamorous blonde assistant who just looks like he invites cuddles.

\enjoy too your lovely healthy food and moments of crafting peace.

One of my gifts is you and your faithfulness to be a friend to me. I truly think if I had to list all my gifts I would be at it for a long time. Thank you for sharing, this post makes me think.

We are given such an abundance of gifts, aren't we? I loved your account of them, and realize that I just posted about some of my own. It is bone chillingly cold here today, so like Jennifer, I am especially grateful for the gift of a warm home :)
Thanks for your beautiful post, Meredith! [ the purple yarn you are crocheting with is sooo lovely!] :)
Love with hugs,
Gracie

Lovely post, thank you for sharing your gifts with us.

My most precious gift at the moment is that my darling Mum is recovering from a recent illness. She so loves Christmas and is getting excited about all the preparations!

It's a beautiful list of gifts you've posted Meredith. I love the shade of blue yarn you are using on that shawl.

It is the simplest of things that bring me the greatest joy this time of year. Time spent with family and friends, the scent of evergreens and a cuddle from Miss Luna are a few things I'm enjoying today. "Course Luna is especially cuddly today, because it is so cold!

What a lovely post. It's nice to acknowledge the gifts of nature at this time of year when we are all so preoccupied with shopping, lists and making things in time for the big day. x
