Sunday Morning

A cup of tea.

A bit of crochet.

A beautiful flower on my table, delighting me at every angle.

A beautiful boy who wants to venture outside, but then comes right back in because it is chilly out.  Even Max with his fur is a Florida boy.

Giggles from my little buddy.  He is here for just a few days, for the long weekend while his medical foster family catches up on family things.

I am loving the giggles, all the words, and the wonderful hugs in footie pajamas.  A perfect Sunday morning for me.  How is yours going?

Your two handsome boys look like they are enjoying their morning in spite of the chill.

Happy crocheting --- I love how that blanket is coming along.

Sounds pretty good - I think though the weather has been cold even in Florida of late?

I have had a nice day pottering about, a bit of cleaning, daughter is baking cookies, even managed to grab some crochet time.

It is nice to have a day relaxing at home isn't it! I really like the pink white and green combo of your hexi blanket, they are a great combination and so spring like! xx

It sounds so relaxing, Meredith. I'm glad you have a day like this to rest and do things you love. I'm glad to see your little buddy back with you again for a little while, he really has grown since you showed him visiting at Thanksgiving! He looks bigger already. Enjoy some baby snuggles while he's there.

Mine was a bit hectic. It's almost Monday now and I haven't got into bed yet. Got to wake up early. So I am going off to sleep now. Have a great day!

What a wonderful picture you paint! Your little guy is so so SO cute! We got up to an empty house - the kids and boys were off to the recycling center to dispose of a bunch of stuff that they cleaned out of our 2nd bedroom upstairs that ended up being where we put things we didn't know what to do with. LOL! Bless them! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

What a lovely Sunday morning, pyjama cuddles just awesome.
My Sunday is a crochet day too, I am in the UK and surprise surprise it is still raining here today. On the plus side I have got quite a bit of crochet done in between several cups of coffee.

Love those kinds of mornings. The pajama cuddles are the best aren't they? Goodness your little guy has grown. Poor Max. You need to crochet him a coat!
Blessings,
Betsy

That sounds utterly perfect, so glad you had such a lovely morning. I pottered around in the kitchen doing chores, nothing exciting at all, just a lovely ordinary day.

Sounds lovely. We had a nice slow start over here, then went out to brunch, and our evening is turning out just the same. All around, a relaxing day here. Everyone is currently doing something they enjoy.

He is too cute Meredith! Your pool looks inviting too. It's cold, cold here and suppose to get colder the next few days. It's been years since we have had this kind of winter. Talking about taking some r&r when this work thing is over with and heading down south. Can't wait!

Looks like a lovely peaceful Sunday morning to me Meredith with lovely company too. I had the tea, the crochet, lots of on line browsing, more tea, a teeny bit of chocolate and more crochet. No company though :( Have a great week xxxx

So sweet Meredith with your big boy and little footies boy. So nice you can do this for the foster family. I'm sure they appreciate the time and your kindness. Hope you have a great week ahead.

Sounds like the perfect Sunday morning to me Meredith - and that sweet little boy is just too gorgeous, I'd love to borrow him for a few hours and just cuddle him to bits. Speaking of cuddles, big ones for the lovely Max - and what a wise boy he is! And of course, hugs for you too and have a wonderful week! Joy xo

What a wonderful day! Plus having a giggling little guy around sure doesn't hurt. What a cutie! Max looks like...where is the warm weather, I want to take a dip! If he is like my golden was he doesn't really like to swim. She was more of a wader. That afgan is coming out beautifully. I am not a pink person, but combined with the other colors it is pretty. Have a great week. Hugs, Teresa

Sounds like the perfect Sunday morning, a bit like Lional Richie's Easy Sunday morning. I am loving the colours in your crochet project, really beautiful and Oh my I have pool envy. It is one of many things I miss about living in SA, but that is definitely at the top of the list. Your pool space is beautiful!! Wishing you a lovely week xoxo

Aw, poor Max. Tell him that Maggie has to go out in frigid weather and snow to do her business up here in beautiful West Michigan! But Maggie loves the snow. More likely than not she comes in with snow on her nose from burrowing down into it! There was one morning that she didn't go any farther than the snow covered patio for her morning outing because it was SOOOO cold!

It looks like it was a very lovely Sunday morning! I laughed when I read Max wanted to come inside because it was too cold outside. It's good you live in Florida and not Alaska!

There are days when I babysit my little guy and I leave him in his footed zippered sleeper cause it is just a "jammies kind of day". He and I don't mind, we play and we both love it. Yes, children bring that something special to our lives and when they leave there is always something missing. Cherish the moments is what we do. Your day sounds like a perfect one and I don't know what you could have added to make it any more complete.
