Happy Thanksgiving................

Happy Thanksgiving from my little pilgrim and me!   There is so much to be thankful for this year even though it has been a tough one.  I will be missing my Dad and my oldest son who is spending the holiday in Ohio.  It will be quiet with just two aunts here celebrating with us and a football game to watch.  But quiet is exactly what I need today.  I need to rest, rest, rest.  Rest my back, I am thankful for steroid shots and medication that are helping to make it better.  Rest my emotions and and rest my busy racing brain.  It is good to step back and be grateful for all that I have, and I have so much.

I include you all in that, I am grateful for your visits, your friendship, the lovely way you are sharing my journey with me and  also allowing me to share in your journey.  This blogland of ours is a pretty special place to be.

For those of you celebrating Thanksgiving today I wish you the best.  For those of you carrying on and having a regular ole Thursday, know I am thankful for you everyday, and I also wish you the best.

I am thankful in advance of all the money I will need to correct that crooked smile above!  It is pretty cute but is going to wreak havoc on his teeth and jaw!

Happy Thanksgiving Day!! It's sure good to be thankful but sometimes it can be a little difficult after you fall down a few rabbit holes! I'm sorry to hear your back was so badly injured, when your back is out everything else us! And especially with your job! So you need to rest rest rest my dear!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. 20 people coming here in about an hour. I don't expect my mom as she is getting weaker now. But I know that she is happy that I am getting all my siblings together. Your little pilgrim is so cute. I can just image that he loved making that hat.

Happy Thanksgiving dear Meredith. I hope you are able to use the day to relax, recuperate and enjoy all of your family that is with you today. We're having a quiet day today with just Dennis and I. None of our kids were able to come home. But I am flying to see Miss Piper, Mandy and Brad next week in Washington DC so all is not lost! Have a wonderful day my sweet friend.
Blessings,
Betsy

Happy Thanksgiving Mere and family! Your buddy pilgrim is so cute!
I'm much better thanks and had a delicious meal with my hub and dau. Chilly days and a nice walk in the crisp afternoon with crunchy leaves underneath! Take care and have a restful weekend with your family! Gently hugs from Oregon!

That has got to be the sweetest, little pilgrim. I adore that smile, it is truly too bad it will become a health issue.
I am very thankful for everyone out there in blog land too. Their faithful visits make blogging so much more fun!
I hope your back is right as rain very soon!

I am so thankful you are focusing on resting, Meredith!!! We had a sweet Thanksgiving celebration with new baby Sarah in our household and watching a bit of football and some of the Macy's parade. Your Pilgrim is a fine fellow happily launching into life even if braces may be in his future...today you can rest...honest, Meredith, you can! I am cheering you on :) xx

Happy Thanksgiving hon! I hope you and your family have a wonderful day. I'm hoping that one day I am lucky enough to be in the USA for a Thanksgiving celebration. It's a lovely holiday and nothing similar is celebrated here in NZ.

It was lovely to hear from you and I wanted to thank you for your comment. I have neglected my poor old blog and I've also not visited my favourite blogs in so very long. I'm slowly but surely finding more time and can't wait to catch up on all the creative bits and bobs all you clever blog gals have been up to.

Have a fab weekend!

Dearest Meredith, my life became so full of things not to be thankful for recently that I simply stopped opening up my computer, but now I'm back on track and back online and like you am feeling immensely thankful that this wonderful world of global friendships exists. I do hope you are getting the opportunity to rest up and that your back is healing. Belatedly, Happy Thanksgiving x

Finally got my keyboard working again. Sorry to hear about your back. yikes! Last time I threw mine out, I was in pain for a week. I would imagine the stress of losing your dad and everything that came after finally caught up with you. We hold everything in and our body takes the toll. A friend had jaw surgery a few months ago to correct a severe underbite and she is having a hard time right now accepting the physical changes as a result. I told her she would look different but she didn't realize just how much it would change her facial structure. My boy isn't coming home for Christmas this year so I know how you feel. This will be the first time I'll go a whole year without seeing him. Not too sure how I feel about that. Hugs to you, Tammy
