Signs of the Season....Five on Friday

It is that time of year where Christmas is all around us whether we are ready or not.  I am getting there, at least I am working hard to be ready for the big day.  Shopping is almost done.  The tree will go up this weekend or next.  Wrapping and cards are on the, "to do" list.  And a very special Little One just might go have a chat with a wonderfully magic man in a red suit tonight.

Are you ready?

I am linking with my dear friend Amy for Five on Friday.  Hope you will too!

Loved that first picture, such a delight. Exciting times for Little Buddy, how wonderful. I have still got cards to finish writing and some baking to do but most of the jobs are done now. I can sit back and enjoy the season. I really don't know how I ever found time to go to work. Have a great weekend.

We'll probably do a lot of our decorating this weekend too.

I love this time of year, even when I'm out of sync as far as getting things accomplished. :-)

Loved seeing your five on Friday photos, Meredith :) I hope Little Buddy has fun visiting Santa tonight. Last night six year old Molly visited me and decided we needed to practice a Christmas play about Jesus being born. I was wearing my blue robe, so Molly said I was Mary and needed to stand next to one of my wing-backed chairs that was evidently serving as Jesus' bed. Molly's little white lamb wrapped in a purple crocheted by G'ma Bev blanket was baby Jesus. Raggedy Ann and Andy were two of the three wisemen and various other sheep served in the other roles while Molly provided background humming Christmasy music...Grandma enjoyed the pageant :) xx

Love, love you ve love your five on Friday. My cards went out last week. Probably no tree this year but all is ready at home...I think. Tonight I'll wrap the presents for Brad, Mandy and Piper after they're all in bed. I couldn't do that before I left, the airlines won't allow that. :-). Have a wonderful weekend enjoy your visit with the man in the red suit. Looking forward to pictures.
Blessings, Betsy

Lovely pictures Meredith and no I'm not ready or even ready to think about it, I still can't believe that Christmas is almost upon us again. It makes all the difference when you have a little one to share Christmas with, I hope LB enjoys his meeting with that special magic man. Have a great weekend. :) xx

Christmas isn't an issue for me, but I am definitely not ready for Hanukkah! It starts tomorrow, but we won't celebrate until around X-mas, when my daughter comes home for winter break.

I do have a lot of gifts to get in the mail in the next few days, though, and I'm stressing about that!

I've put a few little things out that were easy to find but don't think I'll ask hubby to go up into the loft to bring things down. I already have way too much stuff going on and need to get some organization happening around the house. Did Little B visit the Big Man?
