Flowers and the moon..............

I am enjoying these beauties on my kitchen table.  I picked them up a week ago and had no idea what color they would be.  I am thrilled, they are so gorgeous, I can't stop looking at them.  What could be more perfect than a tulip?

I was unable to catch a photo of the brilliant full moon on Sunday evening, it was so beautiful.  So when I went out early this morning to take Max out before leaving for work I saw this gorgeous globe shining behind the rapidly moving clouds.  I rushed in for my camera, switched the lens and was able to get a few shots.  Not the easiest thing with moving clouds and dark skies, the photos aren't perfect but they will let me remember this quiet and beautiful moment.  I love the moon, and am always drawn to its beauty when it is full or even the smallest crescent.

I am having a busy week at work, although trying to still visit with all of you.  Hope something makes you smile today.

Those are beautiful tulips Meredith. I almost bought some at Trader Joe's last week but I passed them by because we had so many flowers left from Dennis' time in the hospital. But tulips say spring to me, and I'm so ready for spring this year. Your moon pictures are very pretty too. I don't know how they could be better. We have had the most beautiful sunshine on the mountains today. I had to drive out of town to take a friend for a surgery today and as I drove back into Spokane and down what we called the sunset hill, I could see the panorama of mountains all in a ring around Spokane. All were covered with snow and they had the blue, blue blue sky behind them. It was gorgeous. Scenes like that always remind me why I love the Northwest so much. Have a lovely evening my sweet friend.
Blessings, Betsy

Your tulips are so pretty, Mere! I know how a little bouquet lifts me up. I've been picking up tulips and lilies at my grocery store on Fridays when they are on sale and what a bright spot they are!

Your pictures of the moon are spectacular. Not sure what sort of lens you have but you are good!!

Hope you're having a great week. We have a heck of a snowstorm coming tomorrow here in the Midwest. I'm sort of looking forward to some activity shoveling and then curling up in front of a fire with some cocoa. :)

The moon has been making me smile in the evenings. So bright and beautiful.
What else? A phone call and an email with plans for a visit from one of the offspring!

It seems funny that we were both looking at the same moon. I wonder if it was at the same time! Jo x
