Meet Mama Lovey Lamb......

Meet Mama Lovey Lamb.  She was finished just a short while ago.

Mama Lovey Lamb has been so patient, she was started way back in March.  She was worked on here and there then thrown in my car to be worked on when there was a few moments between patients.

Finally yesterday she had had enough, she demanded to be brought in the house and worked on in a proper way, not in a hot car while I gobbled down my lunch and got crumbs all over her.

I did as she asked and you know what, bringing her in the house was a sure way to get her done.  Her bottom and stuffing was finished today during someones nap.  She is so happy to finally be here.

And she is more than happy to look after Little Totoro, or Lovely Lamb.  Mama was made with Lion Brand Wool Ease, two skeins of 099 Fisherman and one of 151 Grey Heather.  I used almost all of the cream and about half of the grey, approximately 450 yards of yarn.  A size H hook kept the stitches close enough that the stuffing stayed in place.   She has LOTS of stuffing in her, almost a bag and a half, her middle is expanding just like mine, what a coincidence!  Apparently menopause is not treating her well either.  I am a bit jealous of her sweet smile, seems like she does not let things like an expanding waist line bother her a bit.

This is a bit blurry but it shows Little Buddy happy as he can be with a, "Mama Totoro".  She is half as big as he is!

You can find the Lovey Lamb pattern at Posie Gets Cozy.

Now that Mama Lovey Lamb is finished I can get back to serious business.  Look what I am going to make!

Hope you are all having a good week and thank you all for your wonderful and touching comments about my work situation, I felt like you were all helping me during the weekend when I was feeling rather sad.

Mommy lamb is so cute and little lamb too. Was the puff stitch difficult? Oh now I want to make a lamb. I'm so easily influenced by pretty and cute projects.

Your lambs are adorable and so is LB! I am really behind on blogging as it's been crazy here. Love your project-to-be!

She looks lovely and cuddly, just like a Mama should be. I feel for her menopausal anguish, she has my heartfelt sympathy.
The new knitting pattern looks very stylish.

The perfect pair. I promised myself a top and have some beautiful yarn all ready, still in the bag... Priority is always given to those beautiful Grandchildren of mine.

You always make me smile. Love the photo of baby lamb on mama lamb. They are both so cute. I'm glad you marked another wip with a checkmark. I can see that Little B is very happy, too. Hope your week has been a good one so far. Hugs!

Your Lovey Lambs are just so cute! I wish I was as happy with my expanding middle, too! Of course LB is happy with his lamby pals.

Jessie's Girl is just so you! Simple and elegant. I love that it has some drape to cover those middles.

Those Lambs are absolutely ADORABLE Meredith!
And I realize I failed to mention how heartbroken I was for you with your work situation. I have been praying for you though. I truly do not know how you do the job you do. So many heartstrings being tugged in so many different directions all of the time. You're a soldier on the front lines. I will keep you lifted up in prayer.
The look on Little Buddy's face is PRICELESS as he sits proudly beside his TWO beautiful lambs.
Consider Yourself HUGGED from ME,
Danette

Oh cute, cute, cute! She is adorable Meredith. You did a great job.
Don't even start the "menopot" discussion, because I will be first in line with my two cents. You would think with all the muscles I use to constantly suck in my stomach, I would have a six pack by now. Boo.
I like your latest knitting pattern. Looks like something I would wear.
Have fun!

Oh that lamb and his mama are absolutely gorgeous. I'm not surprised she was in a hurry to be made. I love the new top, I think I should like a top like that too, I shall look out for the pattern. I hope you are feeling a little rosier now, although I know these things don't just vanish. Hugs, CJ xx

Oh, Mama Lamb is just as sweet as the baby. Mandy would like me to make one for Piper, but I haven't gotten the pattern ordered yet. That sweater is just lovely. You want to talk about expanding waistlines? Sweet Meredith, you've got nothing on me. I think I said recently on my blog that I've been beating myself up all winter for gaining more weight and then last week at the cardiologist he said that both of my new meds cause unexplained weight gain. Just great! I've been walking between 5-7 miles a day for the last two weeks, plus watching my diet and I gained 1.7 lbs. last week!!! What's with that? So discouraging. But I'm determined to remain serene, just like Mama lamb through it all. I'm glad things are looking a bit better for you. You are so well loved here in blogland.
Blessings,
Betsy

I really love the new lamb.. and really think they look neat together.. like a real lamby family. I bet LB will love having both of them to play with. I was worried mama lamb might fall in the pool! LOL! I think you're perfect the way you are. I could only wish to be as svelte and lovely as you are. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Your lambs are adorable. Oh if I could crochet too but no. I rarely have time to knit. This weary girl needs to fold laundry and head for bed. I enjoy your posts alot and your comments on my blog. Take care my friend and have a good weekend and find some cool space in your life.

You seem to be giving so much of yourself to everyone else around you, it will be good for you to start a project that's for You. I hope it perks you up after the trying times. Wishing you an easier time. xx
