Biggest Brother is home..........

Mr. 22 arrived home yesterday and it has been a fun 28 hours so far.  Yesterday he went to PT with us to watch Little Buddy, and last night we went out for pizza.  Today we went to the beach and in the pool.  Little Buddy is beside himself and told his oldest brother he could never go away again, ever!  I feel the same way even though I know he will go back to Ohio just as he should.  He has his degree to finish, a new lobbyist  internship to start and a darling girlfriend he adores.  Oh to be 22 again and have your whole life in front of you, of course there is always fear in how you will succeed in your life, but for now I think his life is pretty darn good.

Little Buddy has so much fun with Mr. 22.  He adores him.  He really loves Mr. 19 too of course, but as we know Mr. 19 is quieter and very steady, Mr. 22 is like a wild ride at an amusement park.   Little One needs both of them in his life and they have both stepped up and loved this little boy of ours, which makes me so proud of  them.  They play with him and take care of him.  Mr. 22 has to do it in limited time, only when he is home so he really tries to spend time with Little Buddy when he can.  Mr. 19 is leaving for college in August, he will only be 2 1/2 hours away so we will see him more often than my son who lives in Ohio.  Little Buddy will need those visits so he can still feel connected.  I am so blessed to have these wonderful boys of mine, that includes Max too of course!

Hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July weekend.  Tomorrow Mr. 22 leaves for a short camping trip with his oldest friends, Mr. 19 arrives home from Indiana where he is visiting his girlfriend.  I plan on catching my breath before I work Tuesday-Friday next week.  There will be pool time with Little Buddy and hopefully a bit of knitting.  Have a great weekend.

How wonderful for LB to have these young men in his life! For all of them, it's so special. Those moments that they're home are precious indeed. It's so hard when they live far away, but they have to lead their own lives (that's what I keep telling myself about my son:) But the reunions are wonderful! Have a happy 4th, Meredith!!

It's so nice to have your children come home for a visit. I haven't seen my Mr. 36 in ages. I guess I'm going to have to get up to Michigan to see him. Road trip!

Look at Z Man go! What a brave boy he is to swim with his head underwater. It's such a beautiful thing to see how Little B truly is a part of the family and has such wonderful role models caring for and guiding him. Bless you all!

Lil buddy is a FISH! I love the photos of him swimming to MR 22. The back and forth of college left me very emotional. I just said to Fireman I love that our kids are Done with that. I like them on work schedules not school schedules.

Your pictures are very nice. Clearly there is love shared in this family. Claudia has so kindly informed us that it is your birthday, so on that note, "Happy Birthday" and best wishes for many more. My sister and I are 8 years apart and I agree - it's all just numbers. Age and years difference change nothing. Happy 4th also! Ranee (MN)

Happy Birthday Sweet, Sweet Meredith! I'm so glad you got to spend it with your family. These photos are just precious. The love just flows from them. You are very blessed to have boys that have welcomed Little "B" into your family with those hugely opened arms. And they had to have learned that somewhere. You!!!!! and your husband of course. Enjoy your weekend and get lots of hugs and kisses yourself. Us Moms need them too! Love and blessings to you my sweet friend.

So fun to have your son home for awhile and spoiling Buddy! Fun times and I'm sure you enjoy it as well. Always hard to see them leave though. I can't wait for our beach trip coming up mid month. I love it over there! Your beach looks warm, compared to Oregon where the water is about 52 degrees all year round. Happy 4th of July weekend to you, my friend! Hugs!

Happy Birthday for yesterday Meredith :-)
How lovely to have your boys home together for the weekend. How special to see how beautifully your older boys care for their Little Buddy. Little Boys need Big Boys to connect with, as companions, mentors, role models and mates. You have much to be proud of, Meredith. Your boys are a credit to you.
