Big Family News.....

Big, big news here at my house, Mr. 23 is a graduate!  He graduated yesterday from The Ohio State University!  Woo Hoo!!!!

The ceremony was held at the basketball stadium which was packed.  The graduates all sat in these empty seats.  There were 3.600 of them graduating this December.  They only say the names of the doctoral graduates, and frankly we had no idea where Mr 23 was in the mix of this, somewhere on the right side on the floor.  But we found him after the ceremony and boy did I squeeze the life out of him.  I could not be prouder.

Mr. 23 and Mr.19, who will be next in line for the next graduation.  Well lets not forget  Little Buddy who will graduate from pre-k into Kindergarten this spring.

My three boys, I am a proud mother.

We grabbed some innocent man and had him take our picture.  Not bad for spur of the moment.

Let me just say that Mr. 23 has been through a lot.  He has grown up to be an amazing young man.  He is smart, funny and articulate.  He swam at Ohio State for three years before retiring and concentrating on internships, which is amazing.   He plans on working for a year or two and is entertaining the thought of law school.  He is  just the best.  Anyone hiring?????????

Congratulations to your son and to your family! My son graduated this past May and I remember the excitement and feeling of pride. Great family photos of you guys, too. At first I thought Mr 23 and Mr 19 favored their dad, but I can see a lot of you in them, too, especially Mr 19!

Oh that's wonderful! Congratulations! Beautiful family picture and I have to say you certainly don't look old enough to have a 23 year old. I hope he does go on to law school too. My youngest got his law degree from Stanford 7 years ago now and I was bursting with pride too. We need all the good young professionals we can get in this country.

Congratulations to Mr. 23. It gives parents a warm feeling when they have a child through college. It made me happy when my last one graduated from college. I had three of them. I have enjoyed catching up with you this morning before I head out in the cold to see my hubby. Take care. Merry Christmas hugs and prayers from your Missouri Friend Shirley.

It's me again. I went back to read some of your past posts. I am so sorry to hear about Little Buddy having that horrific seizure. Our little guy we adopted had his first gran mal seizure on this very same evening when he was 4. He had been on mess for seizures when he came to our house to live. And just a few months prior to this seizure he fractured his skull at pre school. He continued to have the gran meals and also other kinds. So scary. He went to the most wonderful neurologist at Nationwide Children's in Columbus. His name was Dr. Tsao. Our son was a challenge even for this brilliant doctor. But around the age of 12 his seizures stopped. Of course now he is 30. He is now a daddy to a precious 5 month baby girl.
I hope the doctors can find the cause for this to happen. My son's seizures were never that long. He did have more than on gran mal in a day but never lasting this long.
He will be in my prayers. So sorry I wasn't around for support.
Hugs
