The letter of the day is C.......

The letter of the day is C.  Yup, and it starts off with crochet.  I am almost done with the body of this baby blanket.  Just about four more inches to go until I start the border.  Maybe if Little Buddy will cooperate with me this afternoon and rest I just might get that body done.

Next we have clutter.  We are closing in on the end of the summer here, Little Buddy's school supplies are all over.  Mr. 20 has moved back home for a few weeks so we have bags of his bedding in the dinning room, clothes all over his room and well you know how it is with boys, a crazy mess.

Mr. Cuteness is of course adorable.  He decided to have a pajama day today and why not?  School is starting on Thursday so we have few of these days left.  We had no where to go today so I said okay.  Well it was all cute until he had an accident in these pj's and I literally said, "Oh crap!"  Yup, I was right on the money with that statement.  He is getting much better in the big boy underpants department but he is not perfect yet.  The mess was cleaned up in a hurry and now we are having a
t-shirt/big boy underpants day until after nap when we will go for a swim.

I made cookies this morning with agave and grain sweetened chocolate chips.  Mr. 23 and I eat a lot of them!

I have been rather cranky this past week as it is hot and I have worked a lot.  Little Buddy and I spent an entire day on Tuesday getting routine tests done that are needed annually.  He was a champ the whole time but it was a long day.  That along with a super surprise adventure to see Paw Patrol Live last Sunday has left me feeling less composed than usual.  It has been very nice to spend a cozy weekend at home.

Thanks for the chat, you are all charming companions.

Hugs Meredith and Little Buddy and everyone else too. Good that you are having a cozy big boy weekend at home. Hot here and very smokey from the fires further north, low visibility too. Blanket looks almost finished!

I quite enjoyed your C day, sorry you've been cranky, sure know that the heat makes me that way too.
As to clutter, it can just stay under Fall or cooler weather gets here.
Hope all the tests were ok.

Out of all your c-words I like Mr. cuteness the best followed by cookies for a close second. LOL!

What a jumble of things to do and get for school prep. I'm amazed that you are getting some crocheting and cookie baking done - oh and swimming - in the midst of it!

Glad you've had some time at home to restore yourself. I had a half day at the dental hospital yesterday with one of mine - four hours of sitting down, don't know how I was tired by the end of it but I was. CJ xx

Very Cool Chatter on your part!
School starts early for you. I'm very glad I have a few more weeks. Although, I think these long summer breaks are not the best thing for students, especially our students who can't afford enriching summer experiences.
I always enjoy a good pajamas day, and it has been a long time since I had an "accident."

So sorry that you are still dealing with sickness in your family, Meredith, and I'm praying you will all be well and rested soon. I am in Nebraska at my niece and nephew's farm and we just had a thunderstorm with supposedly more to come. My great nephew is practicing the piano, his 18-year-old rendition of Pachelbel's Canon...I wish you could hear...lovely. This is a dear family. Sending you lots of hugs of encouragement! xxxxx

You charmed me with candid clips of your current activities, creatively captured with help from the letter C! Cool to see the same humour (comedy?) employed in the comments. My immediate reaction derived from further along the alphabet - the letter D - DARLING!

Those photos of LB and your ability to add a smile between the lines of your busy family life are just 'darling'.

It's been very busy for me too with family, health and crafty matters but I am still reading your posts even when I can't always leave a comment.

Good luck with the new school term. I'll be thinking of you as the school term here gets busy too. xx

LB is so adorable. I hope his return to school has been good.

I have one boy and a small apartment and the mess is impressive. When H has his friends over I realize that they are all not like mine. His messy is exceptional. I'm glad he's exceptional at something ;) Good thing he has our love. 2 hoodies, socks and what not are probably in my littering my living room as we speak ;)

I love time at home, and I love Little Buddy's dino pyjamas. My daughter was obsessed with dinosaurs, so we had many different kinds of dino pyjamas. Seeing your photos sure took me back.
I hope school is off to a good start. My kiddos go back on the 5th, one eager the other not so much.
Hoping life has been kind to you,
Andrea
