I have been taking some pictures of some of my very favorite things in my home. I was going to post about them yesterday but ran out of time. Now I feel sort of silly blogging about an ornamental item when there has been so much devastation for so many people in Haiti. I realize that our lives go on but I just can't seem to get the horrible images of destruction and lost lives out of my head.
I feel a profound sadness for the lovely people of Haiti that struggle so much with life in general. It seems so unfair that they have to deal with more than their fair share. I hope that the world, and especially the United States all pull together in prayer and financial assistance so that we can all create a better place for these people to live in.
I will post about favorite things another day, today I think I need to reflect on the tremendous loss a whole nation is experiencing.

The United States as well as alot of celebrities are donating millions in aid and it is wonderful to see how quickly they are heading to Haiti to help I have been watching the news and my heart goes out to all who have lost loved ones as well as their homes a way we can donate is through Doctors without borders.Hugs Darcy
It is very sad. The Washington Post has been printing some incredible photos. I hope the money and supplies get to where they need to be and I hope the people of Haiti feel all the love and prayers and positive energy we are sending their way.
