I have not been posting for a reason. I am still knitting the, "No Way This IS Going To Work Vest." And I still believe that there is no way it is going to work. But once again I just can't stop myself. I decided that lace is actually fun. Now you understand that this lace pattern is very, very simple. Nothing like the incredible items I see on knitting blogs all the time. But for me it has been stimulating. I have made it longer, I have reduced the stitch count. I am going to adapt the neckline. So I am convincing myself that everything I am doing will help it come out alright. I know deep down it won't yet there is still apart of my brain directing my hands to keep knitting. It is like I have a knitting angel on one shoulder saying, "Look honey, it isn't going to work, just stop now and frog it." While on the other shoulder I have the knitting devil saying, "Keep going you know it will work, keep adapting, and knitting...ha, ha, ha!" The devil is winning.

I totally get it. I've been there - you just keep going hoping against hope that it will indeed turn out beautifully in the end. And maybe it will! If anyone can do it, you can.

Miss you, sister
