28 crochet hexagons are now completed!!!!! I am so happy I am beside myself.
I love them.
And let me tell you I have been so strong. I completed them and did not succumb to the power of the Japanese Crochet Flowers.
It has been tough. Those flowers have a sneaky way about them. So I made a deal with the beautiful yarn waiting to be made into these flowers. I told that yarn that I would simply wind it into balls, but that is it, until I finish making the hexagons. The yarn was very upset with me, but I held strong.
Now I have to crochet all these babies together. But that wasn't part of the deal at all....So I see some completed flowers in my future.
My beautiful, wise Max doesn't care what I am working on. He just likes me to take a break here and there and hold his paw.
Have a beautiful day. Hope you find time to do something you really love.

Meredith, I love LOVE these colors! They're just beautiful together.
When I was sewing a lot, it would pain me to have fabric "waiting" in the wings. Like you, I had to discipline myself to finish one project before jumping into another. Not always successfully, I might add!
Max is such a sweetheart. It's always nice to see photos of him:)
Oh, they're lovely!!!!
Hi Meredith, the colors in your hexes are lovely. I can't wait to see what colors you use in your flowers.
Hugs, Teresa
Hi Meredith. Your hexagons are BEAUTIFUL! And Max is looking quite stunning as well. I had to laugh when I read this post. I have a granny bag that is anxiously awaiting to be finished. It seems to stare at me wanting to be finished and delivered to its new owner. A sweet little girl who keeps asking me for a bag like the one I made for her mom. Maybe this weekend. I have seen these Japanese flowers. They are hard to resist. Thanks for all your kind encouraging comments at Tangled Happy. I do love hearing from friends like you. Hope to find the time to do what I love today! :)
Hi Meredith,
All of your crocheting, well, really, all of your work with yarn, is always so beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing the flowers that you make. The things I've seen made with those on Ravelry are all so pretty.
I'm glad to hear that you all are starting to feel better. It's no fun to be sick, so I hope everything stays well for you.
Max is a wonderful dog. He must be great company for you.
That purple is gorgeous!
Max looks like such a sweet soul. I know I enjoy having Harry and Weasley around me when I'm knitting...except when they start playing with the yarn or want to sit on me, btwn my hands and the knitting! :-)
Max is a sweetheart...a bi one! Your hex's make me want to start some.
