An Early Thanksgiving Wish

I have a lot to be thankful for this year even though this one goes down as one of my tougher years.  I love Thanksgiving as it gives me time to reflect on just how very fortunate I am in so many ways.  One thing I am especially happy about is the completion of my kitchen, which happened this afternoon.  Want to peek?

Can I tell you how much I love it?  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!  It is finished, cleaned, cleaned some more and finally everything put back in its place.  Hooray! We are finally finished.
My very dear friend Lynda sent me these lovely Thanksgiving themed figures as an early Christmas present.  I think they are adorable.  I love their smiles, you can almost feel their Joy.
They were the only Thanksgiving decoration I had out this year.  The kitchen redo has definitely cut into my decorating these past few months.
I am off to Wisconsin tomorrow for a visit with all of my husbands family.  So I will leave you with these smiles and hope that all of you have a wonderful, safe Thanksgiving .

It's always a relief when a big (or small) project is completed. Gives one a sense of accomplishment doesn't it? It is nice that it was all done before the holidays. It looks good!! Your Thanksgiving figures are sweet, what a nice gift. Hope you have a safe trip to Wisconsin and back home. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

The end of a reconstruction project has a tendency to help delete all the awful memories we have of stepping through the weeks of mess! It's beautiful, Meredith! Blessings to you and your family. Hugs, Annette

Happy Thanksgiving to you! Your kitchen looks absolutely marvelous! Granted, I wasn't the one waiting on it to be completed, but I can imagine it was worth the wait :) Safe travels up to Wisconsin! Enjoy the food, family, and cooler weather.

Your kitchen is gorgeous... and yes, I can totally understand how happy you feel because that's how I felt when I got mine redone!
Thanksgiving is not a holiday here--but there is so much that I would love to say Thank you for that I may have to institute it in our family! We're half American anyway--or rather, half of our family is American ;)--so it won't seem odd...
Happy Thanksgiving, my dear!
