Late Saturday Afternoon

It is late in the afternoon on Saturday and I am so happy.  I am done cleaning windows and scrubbing the mold and mildew off my front walkway.  I have beautiful tulips on my table.
 I have newly polished toenails.
I am wearing my oldest, favorite pair of jeans
I have started a new crochet project that promised to be challenging and beautiful if I can master the pattern.
I am sitting outside for a few quiet moments with a cup of tea.
Contemplating reading this wonderful book.  Life right now is quiet and lovely.  I want to remember this minute as my life is not often quiet and lovely.

Hope you are catching a moment for yourself on this Saturday afternoon.

Charming post. But, come on.... we are knee deep in snow. Rub it in. Rub it in....he-he... I'll be down that way before you know it. Ok, not till March, but I need my feet in the sand and to be bare.

I'm just in from shoveling snow.

Nevertheless, I'm glad you're having a quiet and lovely day. You deserve it.

This sounds perfectly lovely, Meredith. It's important to savor these moments, because, you're right, life can be so messy! Enjoy!

I was wondering what pattern had caught your eye from IC - I like your choice!

Your feet are beautiful. They remind me that my feet are kind of forgotten bodyparts. But life is good at the moment (weekend). ;-)

Sewing, drinking tea, more sewing.

Mere, you put me to shame. I probably haven't polished my toe nails, and possibly my fingernails, in oh, ten years? Love to read. Wish you could teach me to crochet! Savor the quiet moments.

I am liking the new blog look. You are braver than me (you remember a few days ago when I lost part of my header)...about afraid to touch anything remotely related to design of my blog. I am trying to work up the nerve to find some sort of program to embellish my photos, lol. Your day sounds like a bit of heaven. Embrace these moments when all seems right in your world, heaven knows a girl deserves them once in awhile.

Meredith,
Getting caught up on blogs and what a lovely post. Tulips and beautiful pedi and cosy wear and tea, so happy you have this moment in time. I think you so deserve it and many more. I think I got that book for Christmas, I will have to check. If so want to read it together. I love to read, just finished and unusual book for me, Hunger Games, but I have to say I love it and it's a trilogy! "Help" has been my favorite in a very long time.
Have a great week, xoRobin❤

The moments of peace, when treasured, give us strength. Your pedi is awesome.
Hope the weekend was great. It was another workend for me, but NOW I'm free to knit. LOve mondays
