Signs of Spring

I know a bunch of you bloggers just got smacked with a big snow storm, be brave, Spring is on the way.  This morning I woke up to a sprinkling of frost on the grass, it was chilly out when I took Max outside at 5:30 AM.  Now the sun is out warming the earth, Spring, I think you are near.

My geraniums are blooming with new leaves popping up all over.

A new rose on the rose tree outside on my porch.

A vine from a potted plant that made it through the winter, has decided to creep outside into the sunshine.

My camphor tree is sprouting new greenery.

My beautiful azaleas are now starting to wilt.

I have decorated for Easter, yes once again no one noticed!  I think that is  pretty funny, ah men, you just have to have a good chuckle about them.

I can feel Spring in the air, and smell it too.  Spring, you are creeping nearer all the time.  I hope you find a sense of Spring creeping in your direction, too.

Happy Weekend.

It is so good to see the spring showing up at your house! Pretty pictures. Your decorations look fantastic. I love your built ins also. Pretty set-up. You should show us more of your house. It looks beautiful from the pics I have seen. It is SUNNY here. It is so nice to see. The sun is getting warmer. Even thought he temps are in the low 30's the snow is starting to melt. We still have at least a foot in the front yard though. But it should go fast now. The banks by the road are a good 3' tall yet so that will take a little longer to melt. But spring is in sight! WhooHoo!!

I love your flower photos and your house is lovely all decorated for Spring.

I will be so thankful to shake Winter and welcome Spring. I hate the cold, and it's been cold, really cold.

So soak up some of those awesome Florida says of sunshine for me, too.

Blessings always dear friend

Nice to see color and greenery...here's hoping it makes its way north soon! :) It's so gray and dull around MI right now - all these muted colors are so sad.

I love geraniums but they never survive the extreme heat here. We have dust again today. Bleh! I had breakfast with a friend but the rest of the time will be spent indoors. I sure wish weekends lasted longer. When Sam's sister came from Canada to visit last year she brought along a pencil sketch someone had done of their dad years ago. I hung it in our living room sometime after she left and do you know it was days before my husband even noticed!!! Men and boys! They just don't see things the way we do. Have a wonderful weekend. I love the Easter decor...pastels and pretties are perfect for this time of year.

Spring is creeping in on tiny feet...and dropping off the backs of the robins.

Ahhh....Spring!
We are having a drizzly day here so it is melting the snow. Spring will happen to us eventually. I love your Easter decor. What a beautiful home you have! And I know what you mean about men....last night Scott says "is that new?". "No Honey, that jar with the cotton balls has sat on the bathroom sink for a year or so now".....
Gotta love em'!
Happy Weekend,
Danette

Look at your buds and flowers already! Wonderful signs of spring. Waiting for my first rose, and I need to go buy at least one new one to plant. Hubby transplanted one and it died. I think two for one should be his punishment. I do love my roses!

Well, well. Let's decorate for ourselves. There is hope they can feel the love we have for our home and this makes all the difference. :-)

I'll take your word for it Mere....spring does seem to be very slow arriving this year even here. We are back to the gale force wind today and very skittish clouds.

Many thanks for your comments on my latest post and for popping by.

keep well

Amanda :-)

Oh I wish Spring was nearer to us too. The temperature has dropped again today and we are freezing our little fingers and toes off. However, I did managed to sow some bean seeds today...quickly!

I've given up decorating for most holidays. Last year I made a huge effort and put out my rabbit candleholders for Easter! lol Your room looks quite festive.

Somehow I don't think of Florida as experiencing frosts! It's snowy here as I type, but from a mostly sunny sky!

Oooo the BEACH and flowers and pretty Easter decor. Thanks for letting me visit them with you, Meredith.
[I tried with my menfolk to "train" them to notice and appreciate what I wanted them to notice and appeciate with bold declarations, "Seeeeee, now you are supposed to say to me, 'Gracie that looks great!'" Somehow the results were less than what I hoped for, but often led to laughter...which is good, right?

Gracie
