Halloween is by far my favorite holiday. I love the fun, spookiness of it. I love that it is a creative holiday without all the fuss of gifts. I have really toned down my decorating for this holiday over the years, I used to go wild when my older kids were little. Little Buddy didn't even notice any of the decorations I put up this year, he is such a male! Since I am completely running on empty right now I thought I would share just a bit of the Halloween fun, because frankly after working and tending to my Dad this week I have nothing else to share. I have only managed two rows a night on my sweater, and frankly that has been a miracle.
I bet you can tell which decoration is my favorite!
I am attending a workshop for my work this weekend so I will be out of blogging commission. Have a great weekend.

It's nice to change things up a little bit to remind you of the time of year, whatever the season or celebration. I don't mind doing a little decorating for the holidays but we don't do much gift giving anymore. Lord knows we've all got more than we really need as it is. I put a few little pumpkin related stuff out but that's about it so far. Hope you have a successful workshop. Best wishes, Tammy

You've seen my autumn decorations. Not much there, but my favorite of yours by far is the last one. I'm betting it's yours too. :-) I'm keeping all of you in my prayers, especially your Dad, you and Claudia. Stressful times and adding a toddler into the mix, well, I don't know how you're doing it all dear Meredith.

I am afraid I haven't bothered with Halloween as we won't be here this year. I have put some nice Autumn décor pieces out instead. Love your display, have a great weekend. Hope your Dad will be on the mend soon.
Love your witches! I agree, it is a fun holiday. I loved putting together costumes for my kids. They never had store bought, and I didn't sew elaborate costumes. My daughter won a costume contest when she was 4 wearing a black trash bag as a witch. She was the cutest little witch. Now they all want store-bought costumes, at least my granddaughters do. Hope your dad is doing better...it's very hard to have an aging parent to care for as well as a job and family. Hugs

You have a good conference. I bought my mother's staff a Halloween plastic pumpkin and I will bring it to the nursing home. The staff has a thankless and very difficult set of daily tasks.

Love your decorations. I have only bought a pumpkin so far. As you say when the children were small I did so much more but now they are young adults it is so different.

Fun decorations! Earlier this month I was more excited about Halloween than my son. It seems we have now switched it up. I would love to get some giant spiders since he is scared of the real kind. Does that make me a mean mom? heh.
