I've got nothing this week my friends except a few images of my day.  A beautiful little boy having quiet time in his room.  I peeked in and he was reading, I love that. A typing assignment I gave to Little Buddy a few weeks ago.  I make him type as part of his therapy, usually 8-10 sentences but when you can only think of a few things to say about a sloppy jalopy you can write about another vehicle. Silly fur boys who look so serious.  I wonder what they were thinking?  My Christmas cactus is starting to bloom, but I am not expecting much this year because none of them are looking very happy.  Maybe they need to be repotted, I'll deal with that after the holidays.  I am busy writing up reports, December always finds me with much more paperwork than I would like.  I am also obsessively making a few things for Christmas.  Well actually the same thing over, and over and over.  But I can't show you now or it would ruin the surprise.

Stay safe my friends.

Great to see the photos.I am also doing Xmas gifts but mine are knitted.I decided to give me a purpose during lockdown I knit all my family scarves or mittens and as there are nine of them it has been quite a task.Nearly there!!!!
December is not a good time to be writing reports, too many other things to do.Pace yourself.

Little Buddy looks so serious reading his book.

Love your pups. I bet they are so, SO soft.

Today was a day for ticking off a bunch of niggling chores. But, the reward at the end was a take-out chai latte from my favorite coffee shop. It was worth the work and every dang calorie.

It's always so good to see your boys! That is some book Little Buddy is reading. That's a lot of words on that page. I'm impressed.

Not having a lot to blog about can be a good thing. Enjoy the ordinary days.

He typed that?! I am SO impressed. Great job Little Buddy! I learned some things about Sloppy Jalopy's and Nisson Quests. :-). And there is nothing I like better than to see children enjoying books. All of our kids and Dennis and I are HUGE bookworms. Books can take you anywhere you want to go.
Enjoy your days Meredith. Take some deep breaths. We all love you. Especially me.
Blessings,
Betsy

Lovely to see Little B reading and having quiet time. And to know that typing is therapy. :) I'm enjoying posting every day since I've been rather sporadic in my blogging this year. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Good luck getting those handmade gifts finished. Give those furboys a big hug. Take care and have a good week.

A lovely snapshot into your week. As you know, I'm an avid reader but neither of my children read very much at all. It's always a thrill when I see little ones absorbed in a book.

Nothing is better than kids reading books. That photo is a treasure.

I love looking in on your week and seeing that things are as they should be. Stay safe, and grab the goodness wherever you can find it.

What a remarkable crew you have. I was going through some boxes not too long ago and found some illustrated stories my children had done. They're priceless, aren't they?

Love the vehicle stories!
My Christmas cactus always blooms around Halloween but I repotted it this past summer and it hasn't shown any sign of blooming since. It has quadrupled in size and the leaves look Much happier since I repotted it though.

I am very proud of your young man to type and draw so well! That is a great photo of your fur boys. They always make me smile. I understand about no cards as they do take a lot of time, I worked on mine for 5 days.. but that also included a newsletter with photos, quite a time suck. I hope you have some down time over the holidays.
((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Reading LIL buddy!!! YES!!! THere is such joy in reading. I just sent a few pages to you yesterday, about how children start to write poems. Lil b has great insight, I see him as a poet. !

It is a joy to find little ones absorbed in a story, isn't it! Over the years I think I tucked away a few homework assignments my kids produced as well...just because they are treasures, aren't they. Love pats to the sober furry friends :)
